クラウドからのアーカイブ取りだし

クラウド上のメールアーカイブからの取り出しについては、ユーザーガイドに記述があります。より高機能なオプション・サービスが別途提供されている可能もありますが、エクスポート機能の概要としては以下のような感じです。

Note:
・You can export individual messages from only one search-results page at a time. However, you can display up to 250 messages on a single search results page. For details, see “Change Number of Search Results Displayed”
on page 120.
・To export saved search results, you must first open the results to display the list of messages. For details, see “View Messages in Saved Results” on page 87.
・The maximum file size when you export all messages is 1GB. If your export exceeds the maximum file size, multiple files are created. Postini does not recommend exports that exceed 80GB.
・Exports for messages older than one year can take significantly longer than for newer messages.

とりあえず、検索を実施して最大 250件まで結果を表示できるので、個別に出したい場合にはその結果をエクスポートすれば OK、ただしファイルの最大サイズは 1GB なのでそれより大きくなると、1GB 単位で分割するよ、あと 80 GB を超えるようなエクスポートは推奨しないのと、1年以上前のデータの取り出しは遅いかも〜という雰囲気でしょうか。
1万件とかあると 40回エクスポート処理を実施しないといけないということに？、小さいケースでも絞り込む前は30万通とかあったりすると思うのですが、1，200回延々と取り出しの作業をブラウザ経由でやり続けることになるんですかね？、と心配になりましたが、マニュアルの画面を見ると1ページ辺り100件で7ページくらいあるのを一括してエクスポートしてる画面とかあるので、個別の場合には 250件ずつチェックだけど、検索結果の一括エクスポート自体はできるという雰囲気ですね。
まぁメールのサイズが大きいとかなりの数の PST ファイルができるかもしれませんが、この辺りはきっと将来的には一括して取り出し可能な件数や、PST サイズの制限も一本 4GB くらいまで緩和されるのかもしれません。オプションに ZIP ファイルという項目があるので、PST を ZIP にある程度まとめてエクスポート＆ダウンロードとかが可能なんでしょうかね？
